  I had been on this program for almost 4yrs with 1 problem where i was overpaying for a whole year until it was discovered. No Problem since they made it right by reducing my rent for a few months. Well its 2017, my recert was in the begininng of April with my lease ending May 31. I had all my paperwork turned in with the understanding I would stay in the same place i have been in since the start of my voucher if i could afford it. if not i would need to down size but in the same apartment complex. Jennifer (the case worker) was well aware of my concern financially with staying in my current apt or downsizing. Now i know we all can get busy at work. ok so.. its now the second week of May and my apartment complex says we haven't heard anything for your case worker. we faxed the paper over and have emailed her several times with no response. i call and she the case worker says i havent received anything from them. so i call my apt complex back and have her fax the paperwork over again. its now May 22 and i have yet to hear anything. never ever has it taken so long to complete this part of the recertification. so i call again and with an attitude this lady tells me she just dropped it in the mail. i still have no idea how much my part of the rent will be. May 25 my apartment complex gives me the paperwork about my rent?!?! she didnt even mail me a copy but now im so frustrated bc i cant afford to pay that amount of money when i can downsize as previously discussed. I WORK so i go down there that following tues May 30 bc their office is closed on fridays and monday was a holiday. she the case manager to point the blame on my apartment complex when lets just be real.. its your fault why its now a week before the 1st and i cant afford to pay the rent!!!!!!. now i have to do more paperwork to downsize to a smaller apt but what happens for the month of June bc i have to wait now for the nxt apt to be ready. my apartment complex had to extend my lease by 1 month due to the negligence of the case worker. i pay my part of June rent but its still money owed bc section 8 didnt pay there full amount. i have no idea why.. call them for 2 days and no answer. once again i go back down there with the extended lease and my the new lease. this woman would not even come out and talk to me but clearly she has no idea what is goin on. i hear her say i have her lease.. no u the old lease that had to be extended bc of her and now u have the new lease. this witch has the nerve to do the say thing she did in May by sending the paperwork back to the apartment complex and not me. who do u think pays my rent?!?! why is it all of a sudden your my case worker and i have to find out my part of the rent thru my apartment complex???? needless to say.. i have worked on a job makin more money and in a bigger apt and didnt have to pay as much as she says i have to pay which is more than what they charge without the program. i didnt want to have to pay another late fee bc of the witch down there at section 8 so I HAD TO WITHDRAW FROM PROGRAM BC OF THE WITCH JENNIFER MICHAEL. AN INCONSIDERATE NO COMPASSION JUDGMENTAL ASS WOMAN WHO TAKES HER ROLE AS CASE MANAGER TO A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!!!! i faxed that paper over July 7.. why this with come callin on July 10 at 7:36 am talking bout she returning my phone call.. I HUNG UP RIGHT IN HER EAR.. TF U CALLING FOR NOW? BECAUSE OF HER I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO GIVE UP MY VOUCHER OR STRUGGLE TO PAY ME RENT... OH AND MONEY STILL OWED TO MY APARTMENT COMPLEX THAT I NOW HOW TO PAY BECAUSE OF A PERSON WHO GETS PAID TO DO A JOB AND DOES NOTHING.. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! its not okay that this system allows apartment complexs and landlords to jack the rent up to a point where u cannot afford to pay the rent.. then with people like that witch working there and not answering the phone or returning emails or not talking to the client to atleast let them know whats goin on with their case is absurd!!! SHE SHOULD BE FIRED OR AT LEAST PUT BACK IN TRAINING BC CLEARLY SHE DONT KNOW WHAT SHE DOING!!!!!!!
